BunnyCDN (bunny.net) is a pay-as-you-go content delivery network: you pay per gigabyte delivered, from $0.01 per GB in Europe and North America, with a $1 monthly minimum and no contract. Add-ons such as Bunny Optimizer ($9.50 a month per website) and Bunny Storage are priced separately. For most small and medium WordPress sites it’s a low-cost way to add a global CDN. What You Get
- A network bunny.net says spans 119 locations in 77 countries, with a 250 Tbps+ backbone.
- Pull zones for WordPress (point your images, CSS and JavaScript at the CDN, usually with a plugin or your caching plugin’s CDN setting).
- Overcharge protection: set a monthly bandwidth limit so a traffic spike can’t run up a bill.
- Replication zones, and payment by card, PayPal or crypto.
On speed, bunny.net cites independent CDNPerf data from March 2025 putting its average latency at 24 ms, against 27 ms for CloudFront — a vendor-cited figure, not my own measurement.

Free Trial and Refunds
The 14-day trial gives you $20 of credit without a card, or $50 if you add billing details. Leftover trial credit is removed when the trial ends. After that, billing is prepaid, and bunny.net’s terms say payments are not refundable; its FAQ adds that refunds may be granted for a mistaken payment or an unused balance within a month of opening the account.
The Catches
- Prices vary up to six times by region, so a mostly Middle East or Africa audience costs much more per GB.
- There’s no permanent free plan: even tiny usage is billed the $1 minimum.
- Optimizer is billed per website on top of bandwidth.
- You still need page caching on your host or a plugin; a CDN speeds up delivery, not WordPress itself.
BunnyCDN With WordPress Speed Plugins
BunnyCDN pairs with a page-cache plugin such as FlyingPress or WP Rocket, and with Perfmatters for script clean-up.

Use it if your visitors are spread across regions and you want a cheap, pay-as-you-go CDN without a contract.
