I’m Harshil Barot, a digital marketing strategist and online tools reviewer. This page explains how to read the evidence, opinions and buying advice on this website. The scope of the individual review matters more than a blanket testing claim.
Personal use and editorial research are different
Personal use describes my experience with a product. A usage period or an account screenshot can support that experience, but it does not prove a controlled performance result.
Hands-on testing means a specific feature or workflow has been tried. Look for what was tested and the conditions. A speed test, for example, applies to the tested site and configuration.
Editorial research uses available product information and evidence to explain features, pricing, limitations and alternatives. It should not be read as firsthand use. Comparisons may combine personal experience with research; the article should explain its basis.
What a useful review should help you decide
- Who the product suits and who should consider another option.
- What the main benefits and limitations are.
- Which conclusions come from personal experience, published information or a measured test.
- What you pay upfront, the billing term and relevant renewal or eligibility conditions.
- Which alternatives are worth comparing for your needs.
How to interpret ratings
A rating on this site is my editorial assessment, not a customer-review average. Read the reasons and qualifications alongside the score. An overall rating does not imply that every feature received its own measured sub-score, and products in different categories are not directly interchangeable.
Screenshots and measurements
A genuine screenshot can show a workflow or account experience. An illustrated featured image is visual context, not proof of use. Where a review includes benchmark results, check the setup, test location, date and caching conditions. A provider’s advertised uptime or response time is a provider claim unless the article includes independent measurements.
Pricing and updates
Use the pricing-check date and billing explanation in the review. Prices, plan limits and refund terms can change. A recent publication or modification date alone does not prove that every commercial term was checked that day. Confirm the full bill and terms before buying.
Affiliate links and recommendations
Some purchase links on this website are affiliate links. I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Read the affiliate disclosure for more detail. A purchase link is an option for readers who have decided the product fits their needs; comparing or choosing another option is equally valid.
