Hosting.com is the rebranded A2 Hosting: fast shared, VPS, dedicated and managed WordPress hosting on NVMe storage, AMD EPYC servers and LiteSpeed caching. I rate it 4.6/5: genuinely quick, with free migrations and solid security, but you need a plan with enough CPU and RAM to get the full speed benefit.

Quick Verdict
Review scope: my rating and test notes come from moving a live WordPress site with real traffic to the service, when it was still branded A2 Hosting. Plans and features were rechecked on Hosting.com’s official website on 13 October 2026; its plan line-up has changed since my test.

What Hosting.com Is
A2 Hosting rebranded as Hosting.com, keeping the same speed-focused approach. Its hosting runs on NVMe SSD storage and AMD EPYC processors, with LiteSpeed caching, tuned MySQL and high-availability architecture behind it. It offers shared web hosting, cloud servers, dedicated servers and a separate fully managed WordPress platform.
My Experience Testing It
I tested the service on a live WordPress site with real traffic. After migration, pages loaded faster straight away, the WordPress dashboard felt quicker, there was no downtime during testing, and the free migration went smoothly. Load times were under two seconds, server response was around 150 ms, and the site stayed stable during traffic spikes. In the weeks after switching, I saw better engagement and slight ranking improvements, though other changes were happening on the site too.
One lesson stood out: the entry-level plan did not feel premium. At the time, the real speed boost came from A2’s faster Turbo tier. Hosting.com has since replaced Turbo with plans tiered by CPU and RAM, so the same advice applies: choose a plan with more resources than the entry tier if speed matters.

Current Shared Hosting Plans
| Plan level | Websites | NVMe storage | Notable extras |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entry | 5 | 15 GB | Free domain registration, email, malware removal, daily backups, free migration |
| Pro | 10 | 50 GB | More CPU and RAM, staging sites, preview URLs, Node.js support |
| Top shared plan | 50 | 100 GB | Highest CPU and RAM, 40 mailboxes, premium SSL, service level agreement, priority support |
Hosting.com says its plans have no lock-ins or minimum terms, and all shared plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Backups are stored off-server with restores to any point in the last 30 days.

Security and Support
Every plan includes free SSL, a web application firewall, malware detection and removal, DDoS protection and off-server daily backups. Support is available 24/7 by chat, email and phone, plus an AI assistant called Orbi. In my experience, the support agents were helpful and reliable, with slight delays at peak times.
Data Centres
Hosting.com operates data centres in the USA, Europe and Asia, including Singapore, which is the better choice if your audience is in India or South-East Asia.
Pros and Cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Fast NVMe and LiteSpeed stack; under-2-second loads in my test | The entry plan is noticeably slower than higher tiers |
| Free migrations and off-server backups | Renewal prices are higher than introductory rates |
| Developer-friendly: SSH, staging, Node.js and PostgreSQL support | Plan names and features changed after the rebrand, so older advice may not apply |
Hosting.com vs Alternatives
- Bluehost is more beginner-oriented; Hosting.com is faster.
- Hostinger is usually cheaper; Hosting.com delivered better raw performance in my test.
- SiteGround has excellent support, while Hosting.com wins on raw speed.

Who Should Use Hosting.com β and Who Should Skip It
It suits bloggers, businesses and developers who want fast hosting and are happy to pay for a mid-tier plan. Skip it if the lowest possible price is your only priority, or if you want the simplest beginner experience.
Final Verdict
Hosting.com earns 4.6/5 from me. The speed I measured was excellent, migration was painless, and the security and backup features are strong. Pick a plan above the entry tier for the best performance, and check the renewal price before committing.
