The Hosting.com Black Friday sale is live on 12-month shared hosting plans: Starter is $1.49 a month (89% off), paid as $17.88 upfront for the first year, Pro $3.49 a month ($41.88) and Max $5.99 a month ($71.88). Hosting.com’s official promotion terms say the sale runs “from November 2, 2026 to November 30, 2026”, which covers Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and no coupon is needed. These prices are for new customers; Hosting.com says existing customers have “their own exclusive Black Friday deals” and should log in to see them. The catch is the renewal: Starter then renews at $13.99 a month, so a second year at that rate costs $167.88 (my calculation), plus the free domain’s renewal if you keep it.
Below: each plan’s sale price and renewal, what the sale’s own terms say about dates, refunds and renewals, and what three years cost compared with deals that need a longer prepay.

Key takeaways
- Hosting.com’s Black Friday promotion terms run from 2 to 30 November 2026 (covering Black Friday and Cyber Monday); its sale page’s FAQ mentions 14 December, but only the 30 November date is in the published terms.
- Shared hosting on a 12-month term for new customers: Starter $1.49/mo ($17.88), Pro $3.49/mo ($41.88), Max $5.99/mo ($71.88), with no coupon.
- Renewals: $13.99, $19.99 and $27.99 a month, so the second year costs 4.7 to 9.4 times the first (my calculation).
- The sale is 12-month only: you don’t need a 3- or 4-year prepay to get the lowest price, but the low price lasts one year.
- 30-day money-back guarantee on the first term only, usable once; domain, setup and migration fees aren’t refunded.

Hosting.com Black Friday 2026: The Prices
Hosting.com’s pricing page showed these cards on 3 November 2026:

| Plan | Black Friday price | Pay today (12 months) | Then renews at |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter (5 sites) | $1.49/mo (89% off) | $17.88 | $13.99/mo |
| Pro (10 sites) | $3.49/mo (83% off) | $41.88 | $19.99/mo |
| Max (50 sites) | $5.99/mo (79% off) | $71.88 | $27.99/mo |
Each card says “For a 1-year term. Pay $17.88 today, then $13.99/mo on renewal” (Starter), and the terms say “The full price for that term is payable upfront.” Hosting.com’s sale page says “every plan includes a free domain, free SSL, daily backups and free website migration”. Starter has 15 GB NVMe storage and Pro 50 GB; Max adds 100 GB, 40 mailboxes and priority support. Prices exclude VAT, which Hosting.com says is “added at checkout based on where you’re based”. Its billing policy adds that “All complementary migrations require the user to provide cPanel account credentials for their previous hosting environment”, and moves from non-cPanel hosts “may incur a charge”.

The Renewal: What Year Two Costs
The terms say that after the first 12 months, plans “renew automatically … at the applicable regular renewal price”, which the plan cards show. In dollars:

| Plan | First year | Second year at renewal | Year two vs year one |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $17.88 | $167.88 | 9.4x |
| Pro | $41.88 | $239.88 | 5.7x |
| Max | $71.88 | $335.88 | 4.7x |
Hosting.com’s billing policy says the renewal invoice is generated 14 days before the renewal term and “charged three (3) days before the renewal date”, and cancelling needs “fifteen (15) days prior” notice through its online form. If you only want one cheap year, put a reminder in your calendar a few weeks before the anniversary. My hosting renewal prices guide covers this pattern across hosts.
Dates, Coupons and Extras

- Dates: the “Black Friday 2026 Promotion Terms” say the promotion “runs from November 2, 2026 to November 30, 2026” (no time zone given). The sale page’s FAQ says the deals “run until 14 December”. Treat 30 November as the safe deadline; only that date is in the published terms.
- Existing customers: the sale page says “The Black Friday prices on this page are for new customers. Log in to see the offers available on your account”; existing customers get their own offers “based on the plan you have with us”. I didn’t check a customer account (Not verified).
- Cyber Monday: “Our Black Friday prices stay the same through Cyber Monday on 30 November, so there’s no need to wait.”
- Coupon: “No. The Black Friday price is added automatically at checkout.” It “cannot be combined with other discount codes, coupons, or promotional offers unless expressly stated otherwise.”
- Marketing Suite: the sale page says an add-on Marketing Suite is “half the price” and “Automatically added in checkout”. I didn’t test the cart, so check whether an extra product appears in your order before paying (Not verified).
- Up to 50% off with an email sign-up: a pop-up offers promo codes for the “AI Hosting & Marketing Suite” to new customers who give an email address; I didn’t test it.
Refunds
The Black Friday terms say eligible hosting is “covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee”, but “The guarantee applies only to the eligible initial term and does not apply to subsequent renewals.” Other limits:
- The service terms say “You can choose to exercise this option only once”.
- The sale page’s FAQ adds that if you cancel within 30 days, “we refund your hosting and you keep the domain”.
- “Domain registrations, setup fees and migration fees are not refundable at any circumstance.”
- The service terms describe “a full refund for the money paid to the date of termination, minus the domain registration fees or other expenses which are non-refundable”; read that wording yourself if you’re relying on a full refund.
Should You Buy Hosting.com on Black Friday?
- Yes, if you want a cheap first year without a long prepay; I rated Hosting.com 4.6/5 in my Hosting.com review, based on testing it as A2 Hosting.
- Plan the second year: Starter renews at $13.99 a month. Compare that with hosts whose sale price covers a longer prepaid term: ChemiCloud’s lowest Black Friday price is on a 36-month plan and Hostinger’s on a 48-month plan (see my ChemiCloud Black Friday and Hostinger Black Friday guides).
- Order by 30 November, the date in the published terms.
- Comparing hosts? See my Black Friday web hosting deals and best web hosting guides.

The checklist in text: order by 30 November; expect to pay 12 months upfront; note the renewal price on the card; check the cart for a Marketing Suite line item; remember domain, setup and migration fees aren’t refunded; and set a reminder before the renewal is charged.
