The PIA Black Friday page is already live on Private Internet Access’s site, but on 30 October 2026 it didn’t show a separate Black Friday price: its plans matched PIA’s normal pricing page, which was running a Halloween promotion, and no Black Friday start or end date was published. The best price that day was the 3 Years + 3 Months plan at $2.03 a month, renewing at $79 every three years. PIA also has a second price list, chosen by a promotion code saved in your browser, so you may see a different plan.
Below: what PIA’s Black Friday page says (and where it contradicts itself), both of PIA’s US-dollar price lists, what you’ll pay over three years, renewals, and PIA’s refund rules.

How I checked: on 30 October 2026 I fetched PIA’s Black Friday page, pricing page, money-back guarantee page and terms of service directly, and opened the pricing page and Black Friday page in a signed-out browser, switching the pricing page to US dollars. All prices here are in US dollars; PIA may show your local currency instead. I haven’t bought a PIA plan or tested the VPN for this article. There are no affiliate links in this article, and third-party coupon sites aren’t used as sources.
Key takeaways
- PIA’s Black Friday page is live and mentions 2026, but on 30 October 2026 its plans and prices matched the normal pricing page.
- The promotion running site-wide that day was a Halloween offer (“up to 83% OFF” or “82%”, depending on the price list), and no Black Friday dates were published.
- Main price list: 3 Years + 3 Months at $2.03 a month, renewing at $79 every 3 years; 1 year is $47.88 and monthly $11.95.
- A second price list, set by a ‘2Y2M’ promotion code, shows 2 Years + 2 Months at $2.19 a month ($56.94), which, as written on the card, renews every year at that same $56.94.
- The 30-day money-back guarantee is for new users who haven’t had a refund in the past 3 months; app-store, gift-card and deal-site purchases are refunded by whoever sold them.

Is There a PIA Black Friday Deal in 2026?
There’s a page, but not a separate deal yet. PIA’s official Black Friday page (privateinternetaccess.com/black-friday-vpn) says “Shop Smart Worldwide and Save Big in 2026”, and the address of PIA’s old 2022 Black Friday blog post now redirects to it. On 30 October 2026, though:
- its US-dollar plan cards were identical to PIA’s normal pricing page;
- the banner across PIA’s site was a Halloween promotion (“Halloween Price Slash: Get up to 83% OFF for a limited time” on the main price list, 82% on the other; the percentage is filled in by script);
- no start date, end date or Black Friday terms appeared on the page, and I found no 2026 Black Friday announcement on PIA’s blog. PIA’s past Black Friday prices are Not verified: I found no dated official page describing one.
Black Friday 2026 is on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November. Check PIA’s pricing page again in November to see whether the Halloween banner is replaced by a Black Friday offer with different prices.

Where PIA’s Black Friday Page Contradicts Itself
Read the offer wording carefully, because the page doesn’t agree with itself:
| What the page says | What its plan card or pricing page shows |
|---|---|
| “Grab [X]% OFF + 4 months on our 3-year offer” and “The discount and 4 months will automatically show at the checkout” | Plan card: “3 Years + 3 Months EXTRA” (3 months, not 4) |
| Page description: “84% off” | Plan card: “TOP OFFER: 83% Off”; the other price list: “82%” |
| With the ‘2Y2M’ code: “82% OFF + 4 months on our 3-year offer”, with a per-month price | That per-month price belongs to the “2 Years + 2 Months EXTRA” plan, not a 3-year plan |
The headline percentage is filled in by the page’s script, so it can change between visits. Go by the plan card and the total on the checkout page, not the headline.
PIA Prices Right Now
The main price list
This is what PIA’s pricing page returned to a direct fetch with no promotion code, and showed in my browser in US dollars with its ‘3Y3M’ code:

| Plan | Price | Renews at |
|---|---|---|
| 1 Month | $11.95 a month | $11.95 monthly |
| 1 Year | $3.99 a month, billed $47.88 for the first year | $47.88 a year |
| 3 Years + 3 Months EXTRA (“TOP OFFER: 83% Off”) | $2.03 a month | $79 every 3 years |
PIA’s pricing page doesn’t state the upfront total for the 3-year plan: $2.03 × 39 months comes to about $79.17 by my arithmetic, close to the $79 renewal, but check the checkout total. I found no tax or VAT wording on the pricing page. A Dedicated IP costs “an extra $5/month” on top of the VPN.
The second price list (the ‘2Y2M’ code)
PIA’s page code reads a promotion code saved in your browser, and some links set a ‘2Y2M’ one. With it, the same page, also in US dollars, showed different plans: 1 Month at $11.99, 6 Months at $7.50 a month (“Autorenews at $45 every 6 months”), and 2 Years + 2 Months at $2.19 a month, “Billed at $56.94 for first 2 years and then autorenews annually at $56.94”.
Read literally, that renewal line matters: after the first 26 months you’d pay $56.94 every year, about 2.2 times the first term’s yearly cost (about $26.28 a year). Confirm the renewal terms at checkout. If you see a 2 Years + 2 Months plan, you’re on this second list. In my browser, adding ?coupon=3Y3M to the pricing page address (privateinternetaccess.com/buy-vpn-online?coupon=3Y3M) brought back the main price list. A direct fetch with no saved code also returned the main list, but I didn’t test whether a fresh private window always shows it.
Every PIA subscription covers “unlimited devices simultaneously”, and PIA lists “NextGen Servers in 113 Countries”, including all 50 US states.
What PIA Costs Over Three Years
On the main price list, the longest plan saves the most, and renewals barely change: the 1-year plan renews at the same $47.88 a year, and the 3-year plan renews at $79 for 36 months (about $2.19 a month) after a first term of 39 months at $2.03 a month. PIA’s terms say fee changes apply “on any subsequent automatic renewal”, so the renewal price can still change before then.

Over three years, paying monthly costs $430.20, three 1-year plans cost $143.64, the 2 Years + 2 Months plan costs $113.88 (its first charge plus one yearly renewal, covering 38 months), and the 3-year plan costs about $79 and covers 39 months (my calculations from PIA’s listed prices).
PIA Refunds and Who Qualifies
PIA’s money-back guarantee page says “we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all our plans”, with conditions:
- You “must be a new user who has purchased a plan in the previous 30 days and who hasn’t requested a refund in the previous 3 months”.
- It “does not apply to Apple App Store or Google Play Store subscribers”; those go through the store.
- You ask via live chat or email within 30 days, and the money goes back to your original payment method.
PIA’s terms of service (updated 24 September 2026) are worded differently: they allow a refund requested within 30 days “from the date of the initial purchase and/or renewal”, and say accounts bought through app stores, gift cards or “3rd party deal sites, can only be refunded by the payment processor”. So if you buy PIA through a deal site, check that site’s own refund terms. If you’re relying on a refund after a renewal, ask PIA support first. I found no rule excluding promotional prices from the guarantee.
Should You Wait for Black Friday?
- Need a VPN now? Today’s 3-year price ($2.03 a month) is what PIA labels “83% Off” against its $11.95 monthly price, and you have 30 days to ask for a refund as a new user.
- Can wait until late November? Check whether a Black Friday offer replaces the Halloween one, and compare the plan card and checkout total, not the headline percentage.
- Already a PIA subscriber? The refund guarantee is for new users only; read any offer’s terms before buying a second plan.
- Comparing VPNs? My best VPN services guide compares four audited VPNs (PIA isn’t one of them); see also my Proton VPN review, NordVPN review, Surfshark review and CyberGhost review. For Proton’s coming sale, see my Proton VPN Black Friday guide.

The checklist in text: check PIA’s pricing page again in November; trust the plan card and checkout total over the headline percentage; read the renewal line for the plan you’re shown; make sure you qualify as a new user for the refund; don’t pay with a gift card if you want a promotional price; and treat third-party coupon codes as unverified.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does PIA have a Black Friday deal in 2026?
PIA has a Black Friday page live that mentions 2026, but on 30 October 2026 its prices matched the normal pricing page, the site-wide promotion was a Halloween offer, and no Black Friday dates were published.
What is the cheapest PIA price right now?
On 30 October 2026, the 3 Years + 3 Months plan at $2.03 a month, renewing at $79 every 3 years. With PIA’s ‘2Y2M’ promotion code saved in the browser, the page showed a 2 Years + 2 Months plan at $2.19 a month instead.
Is PIA’s Black Friday deal 3 or 4 extra months?
The Black Friday page says “+ 4 months on our 3-year offer”, but the plan card on the same page showed “3 Years + 3 Months EXTRA”. Check the checkout page before you pay.
What does PIA cost after renewal?
On the main price list, the 3-year plan renews at $79 every 3 years, the 1-year plan at $47.88 a year and the monthly plan at $11.95. The 2 Years + 2 Months plan’s card says it renews annually at $56.94.
Does PIA’s money-back guarantee cover deal prices?
PIA says the 30-day guarantee covers “all our plans” and I found no promotional exclusion, but it’s for new users without a refund in the past 3 months. App-store, gift-card and deal-site purchases are refunded by the store or site you paid, not by PIA directly.
Can I use a gift card for PIA’s Black Friday price?
No. PIA’s terms say gift-card purchases aren’t eligible for discounts or promotional rates.
